Brandyn Leo

Brandyn Leo is a Toronto-born, Jamaican-raised artist who has focused his art as a singer/songwriter. A graduate of Randolph Academy College of the Arts, he graduated top of his class with the Triple Threat Award in singing, acting, and dance.

After performing in professional theatre productions around the country, he set his sights on music and joined a hip-hop group named Iambic. While in the band, he learned how to hone his skills as a studio vocalist and songwriter.

Now his aim is to use his career to bring people together from all walks of life, spread love and good vibes, while encouraging queer and P.O.C. voices. His influences are a mixture of pop, R&B, soul, gospel, and reggae/dancehall.

His urban pop sound complements his energetic yet composed style. He renamed his last name Leo in honor of the zodiac sign modeled after the lion, to inspire his audiences to have courage in life and always live fearlessly, and also to pay tribute to his Rastafarian ancestry.
